We place the status quo in the context of ongoing development
In addition to gradual, continuous improvements, we focus our attention on significant innovations. We respond to user suggestions to provide the most user-friendly technology and prioritize unexpected, disruptive and yet unrecognized innovations and their proof of value.
We focus closely on people’s requirements and the legal framework. To this end, we maintain a dialog with users and leading creative forces in our society, evaluate our products and services on the basis of scientific data and are continuously involved in research and funding projects with leading institutions from research and industry.
Saving lives with technology and a tapir
Together with Corevas GmbH & Co.KG, the working group of the Cybernetics Lab of RWTH Aachen University has developed TapirTapes, a public online learning module for people of all ages (Massive Open Online Course – MOOC). The development of the MOOC and EmergencyEye® were part of the RAMSES project, which was supported by EIT Health, a funding network for innovation in the health sector of the European Union.
Since the Tapir Tapes were launched, they have been viewed or downloaded many thousands of times. While schools use the TapirTapes for lay resuscitation training, the TapirTapes format inspires people of all ages and can thus contribute to better care for those affected.
Since 2018, the TapirTapes have already had more than 15.000 viewers.
Coreva's hackathonsInnovation, collaboration and impact
Since 2017, we at Corevas have been bringing together creative minds from all over the world to develop innovative solutions to pressing challenges in hackathons. With hundreds of participants to date, we have created a platform where technology meets social relevance – practical, interdisciplinary and full of innovative spirit.
We bring together developers, designers, technicians, emergency services, industry and research partners as well as those affected – because innovation arises when diverse perspectives come together.
And we believe that the best solutions are created through open collaboration. Our hackathons are more than just competitions – they are incubators for real innovation and sustainable change.

The benefits of EmergencyEye® were demonstrated in two clinical studies, among others, using resuscitation situations in which the immediate and correct action of emergency witnesses and the rapid arrival of professional help are decisive for the outcome of those affected. EmergencyEye® was shown in the studies to be highly superior to the current best standard.
