About the BIM

Berliner Immobilienmanagement GmbH (BIM) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the state of Berlin and was founded in 2003. It manages around 5,000 state-owned properties, including head office buildings, court buildings, police and fire department properties as well as cultural and educational facilities.

The core tasks of Berliner Immobilienmanagement range from the efficient and sustainable management of properties owned by the state to the planning and implementation of construction and renovation projects and sustainability management, the implementation of measures to save energy and reduce CO₂ emissions, supported by an ISO 50001-certified energy management system.

BIMvorOrt: Optimizing digital real estate management

Berliner Immobilienmanagement GmbH (BIM) is using EmergencyEye® technology under the name BIMvorOrt to take its digital real estate management to the next level. With live video support, technical defects can be precisely assessed and efficiently rectified remotely in real time. This visual documentation plays a central role in collaboration with framework agreement partners and ensures transparent and rapid troubleshooting.

BIMvorOrt intelligently addresses several key factors: Sustainability, customer satisfaction and resource efficiency.
