Swiss Post uses EmergencyEye® to enable customers to report damaged parcels directly from home. If a customer calls Swiss Post, customer service can start a video transmission if desired. The customer points his cell phone camera at the damaged package and no longer has to take it to a post office for inspection.
The system launched at the Post in the 2019 holiday season. So it was introduced independently of Corona, but now helps reduce face-to-face customer contact.
Our "video support via smartphone" service with the technology used from EmergencyEye® guarantees full data protection and helps with the strategic goal of positioning Swiss Post as a trustworthy company for digital data transport.
