EmergencyEye®: Hunting for trouble with your smartphone
RheinEnergie is the first energy supplier in Germany to introduce the EmergencyEye® system. With the customer’s consent, fault clearance staff can access the customer’s smartphone camera remotely to better diagnose faults and determine the exact location of the incident.
The colleagues in RheinEnergie’s fault clearance management take more than 80,000 calls a year. Through EmergencyEye®, Rheinenergie improves its performance, because employees will be able to handle their calls faster, more accurately and better, and affected persons will be better supported and cared for.
